Jennifer’s favourite thing is play doh, no question. She would (and does) play with play doh for hours!
Did you know that play doh makes shape and learn kits? (Spoiler, it does!) There was a sale over the summer so I picked up a couple of kits for Jennifer to help with our “homeschooling”.
The kit we’ve opened is letters & language. The kit has 26 capital letter stampers, two reversible mats, a roller, and a pen. There is also a parent guide with activity ideas.
Right now, we just pick out a few letters for recognition and try to remember them from day-to-day. Or Jenni can use our play doh kit that has all the other things (I’ll keep them separate for a bit).
In the basement, we also have the textures & tools kit for later use. And I’m sure I’ll get the numbers & counting and colours & shapes at some point!
Side note, with Martin, I’m just trying to keep him from eating the play doh, he doesn’t pretty well but eventually, we get this…
From being told no.
