The girls practised cutting, pasting and talking about Ee today. Which resulted in us making elephants yesterday after gymnastics.
Jenni can now hold the scissors, but not really cut. And Hazel is developing her precision more each time she practices.
After lunch and quiet time, we did our religion class. We recently decided not to enrol the kids in Catholic school, so the education falls on me until they are old enough to attend Sunday school (not that I mind). I found a curriculum that seems to work well and we started earlier this week. To make it a little more fun, the girls painted (free) colouring sheets about Creation and Noah’s Arc. Then we finished the afternoon painting princess pictures – as per Hazel’s request. I’m not sure we did quite enough painting…
We also had music class today – but more about the system I’m following later!
