More Aa’s and this week’s plan

Last week we worked on the letter Aa. Jenni with simple recognition, Hazel with a few sight words beginning with Aa. Both did well. We did quiet a few activities (Aa is for 🍎 & worksheets) and finished out the week with animal magnets and alligators!

The girls had a ton of fun, they love painting! And yes I put a fitted sheet over my dining room table before any and all painting happens!

We rounded out the week with “music lessons” taught by yours truly, and a religion class. Of all the things I work on with the kids at home, religion is the one I’m least confident teaching. I’ve got a pre-k and k Catholic books coming that I’m exciting to put to use and help guide me through teaching basic religion (surprise, I don’t remember how my Catholic education started some 25 years ago).

This week, we’re working on “Ee”, the number 3, more music lesson, and hopefully the religion books arrive.

Who’s alligator is who’s?
